Vancouver, WA!Position Summary: Responsible for directing, planning
and coordinating activities of the front desk staff to ensure
prompt, courteous service to all guests and ensure their
experiences are distinctively supreme.Essential Functions:
- Oversee all aspects of guest registration and check-out,
ensuring prescribed procedures are followed
- Assist in administering policies for communication between
front desk, guests, and other hotel staff
- Maintain and enforce high standards of customer service, with
zero tolerance for poor service
- Respond to inquiries about hotel policies, services, requests,
and complaints
- Understand hotel operations, including room types, rates,
packages, and meeting spaces
- Assist with front desk organization, programs, and systems to
keep staff on task
- Complete employee documentation for the front desk team
- Plan, direct, and monitor the activities of front desk
agents
- Train front desk staff on sales techniques, customer service,
and hotel offerings
- Help drive transient sales and control budget/overtime through
effective scheduling
- Shuttle guests in company vans when required
- Hold monthly meetings with the front desk teamAdditional
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a neat, organized work area
- Conduct yourself professionally at all times
- Report any unsafe conditions to maintain a safe work
environment
- Develop positive working relationships with all hotel
departments
- Comply with all company policies and proceduresQualifications:
- 2+ years of hotel front desk experience preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of front office operations and ability to plan,
organize, and direct staff
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving
skills
- Ability to read, write, and effectively interact with guests
and employees
- Maintain a professional appearance and have prior cash handling
experience
- Skilled at multitasking and working well under pressure
- Can follow both verbal and written instructions
- Willing to work a flexible schedulePhysical Requirements: 3-6
